MAV™ Straw Chopper Rotor Upgrade | John Deere Combines
The MAV™ Straw Chopper rotor upgrade provides a replacement chopper rotor with MAV™ fan shrouds. It provides fine cut straw and delivers a wider spread.
- Replaces factory straw chopper rotor only
- Factory chaff spreading system remains in use
- Chaff is spread with straw on STS models
- Spreads 25' to 45' wide with use of 12 vane tailboard
- Reverse blades when initial blade edge is worn
- Residue is projected farther - minimizing dust around the combine
- Achieve an even distribution of residue across width of the cutter bar
